The Presbytery of the Peaks is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for Teaching Elders, CRE’s & Certified ChristianEducators

Monday, September 29 – Tuesday, September 30, 2014
Location: Eagle Eyrie Conference Center

This retreat offers church professionals time and space to relax, refresh, fellowship, learn and grow in the company of your colleagues in ministry.

Keynote Speaker: Executive Presbyter of The Rev. Dr. Corey Schlosser-Hall North Puget Sound Presbytery

Ruling Elder Corey Schlosser-Hall grew up in the Dakotas and graduated from the University of Oregon. He earned a Ph.D. in Organizational Communication from the University of Minnesota. Prior to serving as Executive Presbyter, he served as Communications Director for the Presbytery of Seattle and has been a university professor, wilderness guide, director of communications and training, just to name a few. He also sings in a rock band – “Eyes Wide Open” – to lead worship inspired by the music of U2.

Conference Scriptural Themes

Call: Ephesians 4:1-13

Care: Luke 9: Selected verses emphasizing the rhythm of public engagement, retreat, engage, retreat, engage, retreat.

Connect: Acts 16: Lydia & Paul.

A Spirituality Center will be open throughout the retreat for participants as well as an outdoor Labyrinth and a quiet Chapel in the woods. Come and explore Call, Care and Connect in a place where you can relax, rest and rejuvenate with not only with room for your own private time but time for sharing with your colleagues in ministry.

Accommodations:

$85.00 per person for semi-private rooms (double occupancy)
$105 per person for single occupancy
Cost includes three meals (Dinner, Breakfast and Lunch)
Linens and towels included
Tuesday only $27.00 (includes two meals: Breakfast and Lunch)
